Time for me to get busy. I’ve got coffee to drink, and then time to spend some time on the elliptical before my favorite guy gets home from work later on today.

I can’t believe yet another week has flown by, and tomorrow is Friday. Sometime or another I would like to make some scones- Maybe that will happen this afternoon before date night. I guess wéll see.

If not- there’s always tomorrow.

Happy weekend. Not sure how much I’ll be around between now and Monday.

It’s another great day here in the world of Wiz, and in spite of the cloudy skies and spattering rain, life is great.

I slept late this morning, after waking Marcel and getting him off to work- and I’m ready to take on the world, or at least my elliptical, which I’ll do shortly, then hop in the bath and get ready to run to the supermarket when he gets home from work.

From there- no cooking tonight- it’s date night, so that means dinner and a movie. I’m really looking forward to it, and I could tell that he is too.

Marcel and I received a two week gift subscription to a local newspaper. Technically, it’s for advertising puprposes, because they are hoping after the two weeks, when they make contact with you, that you will have loved the paper so much that you’re willing to actually purchase a subscription.

I’d filled the information in at their website, and recieved the following day an email confirmation that I’d start receiving the paper last Wednesday. Wednesday came and went- no paper. So, I emailed them to let them know I hadn’t received it, and in the form, it asked if I’d like to have the paper from Wednesday delivered, albeit late- I said yes.

The following day, I received the paper, for that particular date, not from the day before- and then the day after that, which was Friday, I also received the paper. Saturday- no paper. Sunday there is no paper for this particular newspaper, and today- again, no paper.

What do you think I’m going to say when they call to ask if I actually would like a subscription to this newspaper?

I’ve spend quite a bit of time today goofing off, and trying to play catch up over here, but the time has come that I’d better actually turn off the computer and pick up a few things around the house.

I really haven’t felt like doing much today- and in fact, have stayed in my pjs all day, but I need to do ’something’ productive.

I have a list a mile long of things I’d like to accomplish today, but I have a feeling that it may not happen. I’m going to give it a good try though. After all, I won’t know if I don’t try, right? Right!

I’m looking forward to the weekend. Marcel is working tonight and tomorrow night, but Sunday we have a birthday party, and then dinner out with family for Mother’s Day. I wish I was going to be spending the day with my own mom though. I always miss her and diddy during the holidays. *sigh*

This place sure has changed in the last few weeks since I was here last. I’m not sure it’s a good thing. In fact, I could be fairly certain that it isn’t. Kind of reminds me of a ghost town in many ways.. and in others.. well- never mind.

It’s sad to think that the new owners of this place really aren’t doing anything with it, but just letting it go to ‘hell in a handbasket’ so to speak. I’m happy Matt started KCL, which has been able to draw so many of us back together again.

I have my own places, but I feel alone over there, since after all- there is only me there, and it takes time to build up readers. I love it though, and wouldn’t have it any other way- now if I can only get a little more time to do all the things I’d like to do, life will be perfect.

My dearest husband wants his laptop, so I guess the plans I had to write a little more are halted at the moment. I guess that means, time to eat my steel-cut oats, and get a few things done before my friend Bobbi visits a little later this afternoon.

Life has been a little bit hectic, but I do hope that I will somehow find a balance and be able to start fitting more into my day. My computer time as of late has been little, but oddly I haven’t missed it that much. I miss some of the people, and I miss some of the things I need to accomplish, but life has been full in so many other areas.

As you can see by the lack of interaction on this page- Time has once again gotten away from me and I’ve not been around as much. I should be able to spend a little more time around now that a few things are in order.

What’s been happening in your world? Life is good here- Marcel and I have been gearing up for some warmer weather and the upcoming vacation season. We’re still trying to decide where we’ll go for vacation, but that will come- I hope anyway.

Time to look around and see what everyone else has been up to.
