I don’t know about you, but I finally got so fed up with the cable company that I finally started calling around to see if I could find Direct TV in my area. My parents have been using them for years and when I visit, I can always find something great on television to watch, regardless of what time of the day or night it may happen to be.
The great thing about Directtv is that they have all the channels that I love and my parents said they don’t tend to drop channels every other month the way my cable television provider has been doing. Mom actually said she was surprised that it took me this long to want to switch, but the reality is that I would have switched a long time ago, but I kept procrastinating. That day is over though and I’m ready to enjoy channels like the Food Network, Discovery, HGTV and Hallmark whenever I’d like. I’ve already been looking at Direct TV Packages in my area and if all goes well it won’t be long and I’ll have everything set up and ready to go. All I can say is that it’s about time, but you know the old saying, better late than never. Maybe I’ll get lucky and they’ll be having a promotion so I can check out some of the extra packages for a limited time. I’m excited though, because I should have everything connected in time to catch all the holiday specials, which are one of my favorite things about the holidays.
